Delete Your Account

This page explains how to delete your AlphaEdge Signals account and the personal data linked to it, what we delete, and what the law requires us to keep.

1. How to request deletion

Send a deletion request by email to support@alphaedge.app. You can either:

Email us directly from the email address registered on your account; or
Use the app: open Profile → Help & Support → Email Support, which opens an email to the same address.

Please use the subject line "Delete my account" and include the phone number registered on your account (the number you sign in with). If you no longer have access to your registered email address, you can still write from another address; the phone verification below is what confirms the request.

2. We verify that the request is yours

Deleting an account cannot be undone, so before we act we confirm that the request comes from the account holder. We send a one-time password (OTP) by SMS to the phone number registered on the account, and you confirm the request with it. We do not delete an account until this verification is complete, and we will never ask for your OTP for any other purpose.

3. What we delete

Within 30 days of a verified request, we delete your account and close your access to the app, together with:

your account and profile: name, phone number, email address, state, city, profession, trading experience and capital preferences, and any referral or RM code you entered;
your device push-notification tokens;
your app activity analytics and sign-in / IP records, where we have no security or regulatory reason to keep them.

We will confirm to you in writing what was deleted and what was retained, and why.

4. What we keep, and why

Some records evidence a commercial transaction, and Indian tax and accounting law requires us to keep them for the statutory record-keeping period even after your account is deleted. We keep:

Transaction and invoice records for the subscriptions you purchased;
the payment records that support them: the UPI transaction references (UTRs) you submitted and the payment-proof images or PDFs you uploaded;
your PAN, where you supplied it, as part of those client and transaction records.

These retained records are kept only for as long as the law requires and are used only to meet those obligations — for example, a tax or accounting audit, or resolving a payment dispute. They are not used to market to you or for any other purpose, and they are deleted once the statutory period ends.
